I created DrProfessorMom to honor the fullness of women who hold many roles at once. It exists for the scholar who is also a mother, the professional who nurtures, and the woman who refuses to shrink any part of herself to fit a single title.

DrProfessorMom was also born from a deeply personal season of healing. Navigating postpartum depression while carrying the expectations of academia and motherhood revealed how isolating it can feel to struggle in silence especially in spaces that reward perfection and resilience over honesty. That experience reshaped how I see success, rest, and self-worth, and inspired me to create a space where vulnerability is not a weakness, but a bridge to connection. DrProfessorMom exists so that no woman feels alone in her becoming, and so that healing, softness, and ambition are allowed to coexist.
